Keeping a bird cage clean and hygienic is an important element of keeping a bird. Before you purchase a bird cage, inspect as many bird cages as you can find and choose one that has a removable tray that can be pulled out easily to remove bird droppings. This is to ensure that the bird cage can be easily cleaned and maintained. Such a set-up is ideal as it will not disturb the bird when you are clearing away the droppings. If you are building your own cage from bird cage plans, make sure it has this feature too.

If you have a puppy or are thinking about getting one it is important to know how to care for your puppy. The result of good puppy care is a healthy, well adjusted and well behaved dog.
1. Feeding
You should get your puppy after it has been weaned, so feeding your pup will be a relatively simple procedure. You should feed him puppy food three times a day until he is 12 weeks old. Make sure the food is formulated specifically for puppies and keep in mind that small and large breed food differ. Make sure to give him the correct one! Always follow the manufacturer's guidelines when working out portion sizes.

The first thing that a vet will do when he thinks that a dog might have
hip dysplasia is reading the medical history of the dog, after which he
will examine the dog in detail.
Diagnosis
After the physical examination, the veterinarian will look at the joints of the dog to see if there are any signs that their motion is limited or reduced, if the joints are lax or if they creak, or if the muscles of the thighs are atrophied. The results, together with the symptoms that were mentioned above will tell the doctor if the dog suffers from hip dysplasia. You need to mention those symptoms that you observed when the doctor asks you about them, so he can form a full image of the dog’s condition. He will watch the dog as he moves or walks around, and check if he can lie down or sit properly. Sometime, he will be able to diagnose the dog as having hip dysplasia just by doing.

Signs to look for and tips to help reduce the signs of aging in your dog.
Signs of aging in your dog are gradual, just as with us. Slowly becoming grey around the muzzle, slowing down, not a quick to get up from lying down, and sleeping more.
These are natural normal signs of elderly dogs, and are inevitable. Depending on the breed and size of your dog, the rate of aging can be quite different. For example at 10 years of age, a dog under 20 pounds is approximately equivalent to 56 human years. Compare the same aged dog (10 years old) that is over 90 pounds, and they are equivalent to approximately 78 human years.

A dog is more than just a pet; they are a companion whether you are sitting quietly by the fire at home or going for a walk, they are their keeping you company. Many owners find walking their dog one of the most relaxing things they can do and will enjoy the exercise as much as their companion will.
A dog is a man’s best friend and I am sure all dog owners will agree wholeheartedly with me and the welcome wag of its tail and the friendly lick can make you smile even after a hard stressful day at work. A dog will get just as much enjoyment from lying on the floor near you if you haven’t the energy for a walk, never complaining. The dog never complains if you have forgotten to give it a bath or perhaps you could not take it out for a walk due to some urgent work.

What to do with an aggressive dog
When it comes to aggressiveness in a dog, this is a very serious problem. There are new laws that state dog owners can be charged and the dog put down if the dog bites someone. Of course with some serious dog training, our dog can learn to enjoy people and not turn on them.
There are lots of reasons why dogs are or become aggressive. Maybe the dog feels his territory is being compromised, or he feels threatened. A lot of aggression comes from lack of confidence and insecurity. Simple obedience will not solve your dog’s aggressive problems, only some serious dog training will do the trick. Aggressiveness doesn’t just mean biting; it means barking and lunging at people as well. This type of behavior needs to be addressed as soon as possible to prevent anything serious from happening to someone or another dog.

Urine marking is a distinct behavior by which dogs communicate with one another…
Toy Poodles, along with other Poodle varieties are notable for their keen sense of instinctual behavior such as marking. You may have successfully house-trained your Toy Poodles but at some point in your life, you might see one of your beloved pets lifting his leg and hallowing the furniture. He’s not urinating actually, but rather urine marking.
Urine marking, also called scent marking is a behavior by which dogs communicate with one another by leaving behind an identifying scent. Information such as identity, sex and reproductive status of the marker are discern through strong-smelling marks made. So if you see your fully housetrained Toy Poodle lifting his leg, the action doesn’t necessarily mean that your pet wants to pee but will scent mark to leave other dogs a message.
